Quick to start, traps are tripped, and combat ensues all over the forest. A mysterious ninja tries to impersonate Naruto, but being the second time that it happened, Sasuke and Sakura don't fall for it. They instead fight the powerful ninja. Little do they know that it is in fact Orochimaru, one of the world's strongest ninjas in disguise. Sasuke is petrified by the fear of death and the strength of his enemy, and struggles against him for a while until Naruto returns from being ingested by a giant snake in Kyuubi Transformation and stops another giant snake with just two kunais. Seeing Naruto's courage Sasuke realizes that he too must show courage to accomplish his goals and gets serious. The fight continues at a very fast pace until Sasuke uses a technique that burns off Orochimaru's false face revealing his true one. He then introduces himself, burns his scroll leaving Naruto's team without any scrolls, and incapacitates Sasuke with a bite to the neck. Upon the area of the bite a seal appears, and Sasuke is gripped by crippling pain. Anko then tries to take down her old master, Orochimaru, using forbidden techniques. However, being seriously outclassed, Anko loses the fight and Orochimaru leaves with an explaination of his reasons. Meanwhile, with Naruto and Sasuke both incapacitated, Sakura sets up some traps and tries her best to protect her recovering comerades. Until she is attacked by 3 ninjas from the village of sound. Dosu, Zaku and Kin quickly point out Sakura's traps, and encroach upon her. They try to fight her, but fortunately they are stopped by a spinning kick from Rock Lee. Once he is incapacitated Sakura fights alone until she is a bloody mess. At that point Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji step in and save the day. |
